Rusalka, a barbarian from the Northern Wastes, adventured with the group through the middle part of the California campaign. No one in the campaign, aside from Beauman, had more hit points. Rusalka was also the most superstitious character ever. Her tribal background left her hedged about with taboos and a dread fear of magic.

These superstitions and fears frequently left her an emotional wreck, and in need of "cleansing". Perhaps most notable was the time a backfired wish caused the god Loki to curse her with the ability to talk to inanimate objects, which nearly drove the poor barbarian nuts. In the end she left the evils of civilization behind to return to her clean, sensible north, where she no doubt remains.
