The Heroes of Telemarch

The Life and Times of the campaign's longest-running group

Okay, so they never called themselves "The Heroes of Telemarch". They never called themselves anything at all. I called them that because their first adventure was in the Telemarch region, near the village of Greymarsh, and I named that region Telemarch so I could call them that. I was, of course, inspired by the famous WWII film "The Heroes of Telemark". Whatever one called them, the group had many adventures and featured a roster of truly memorable characters. They began play in October, 1982 and ran through July, 1996.

3128 - the first year, dominated by Castle Mhelgos.

3129 - the second year; the Eyeless Priest, Rathbone and the pirates, the Den of the Black Adders, of Soujrnee and Thor, of Roberath and the Spring of Hope, the Altar and Temple of the Old Ones, and many other adventures.

3130 - the third year; the return of Ehrin Cindu, Crag Keep, and the Forbidden City.

3131 - the fourth year; the Forbidden City continued, Coruth-Mem, and the Eyeless Priest's revenge: Haggoth and the Crystal Keep.

3132 - the fifth year; the end of the Eyeless Priest, the Crystal Bridge, first visits to Ebar Krowden, and a return to Haggoth and Tarranosh.

3133 - the sixth year; Colroth's Bane, Ebar Krowden, Ebar Cahaundin, Ebar Duergar, and Fraz Urb'luu and the Book of Screams.

3134 - the seventh year; the Dungeon of the Fumaroles, the Glitterdoom dungeon, Tiros Gathgor, and Ebar Krowden.

3135 - the eight year; Ebar Krowden, return to Haggoth, and the world of Oberon.
