Notes: Barbara is the Eldest. When the redwoods were mere saplings, she was there. When the pyramids were only an idea, she was there. And when the campaign moved to California, she was waiting. She worked at the YMCA with my cousin Becky and my grandmother, and was the first person Becky thought of when we were looking for players to start the campaign. She started playing when we began the California campaign and has played for the last 18 years.
Barbara loves playing games, and has more sheer fun in the campaign than almost any other player I've known. In the years she has gone from being the aquatic director at the Y to being a teacher. The thought of Barbara molding our nation's youth ought to be scarier than it is, somehow. She has been the campaign's chief chronicler among the players, and also its chief lyricist.
